been going through my head lately....if you try to prevent them from doing what they want...they see you as the enemy...but are you?.
if you take away their freedom to do so.....are they no longer free?
will they hate you...or thank you when they come to their senses?.
Common sense...a person with useful or a good idea will not be acting self destructive...but rather will be a target and diagnosised as such by those who hold to and have inferior ideas.
A good idea is a the biggest threat to bad unsuccessful ideas and those who profit from them.
this is for the jw lurkers out there.
now, lets look at how the word salvation is used in the bible.
we see that the word gift is used when the bible describes how one obtains salvation, but the word earned is never used.
do you earn a gift?
Do you buy a gift?
There really is no undisputable answer to this question though....we have no idea for sure what "salvation", "works", or "gift" even is for sure!
all I can do is guess.....
an old friend brought the co by the house today.
i answered the door before i knew who it was.
it was low key and not a lot of pressure.
The only way I can get the to come near me..is if they have no clue who I am.....I sometimes wonder if they do not have a picture of me distributed at all the local halls....
If they don't...i hope someday I become a big enough threat to them and their plans that they do!
i hear all the time how leaders justify why people should buy into and follow their guesses...and the whole defense is if you don't you have no faith.. what protects a "faithful" person from becoming prey to a self-exalted leader and their guesses?

last week was the 2 day assembly.i didn't go to either one.
today,my mom called and told me the the c.o.
and d.o.came for a visit.i've been attending only once a week and no field service in about 4 years.

as desperate as i was to be convinced that the society would have no effect on my destiny, at some level i still believed it was god's channel and that my life hinged on obedience to it.
My problem is....poor people like me cannot afford the freedom this information gives to those who can......and because of that.....I remain enslaved to the JW's and their guesses.
If I had the knowledge that could expose them and destroy the power they currently enjoy over less intelligent people who believe and follow their guesses.....I would give it away for free. So perhaps I am judging her by my standards, and maybe I am wrong for doing so.....that is anyones guess.
That is the same thing the WT does..they feel they have superior knowledge given to them by God and should be compensated by your money and service for sharing it with you. The only way to front them out and expose that...is by doing the opposite!
Why don't you take up a collection for me...buy me the book and I can repay you by giving you my guess on it? lol
I am sure she has no more knowledge into God's thoughts and plans as I or the WTS does though...and if she claims otherwise...I would not buy into it for a second.
Course I possibly will never know....and must rely on others to present their findings to form an personal opinion.

about a generaton ago, the jws leaders' stance was that a jw could defend themself--john 15:13 ("the watchtower," june 1, 1968, p.347).
it was their expanded rules about worldliness that prevented jws from being able to work for the government, including the police and military and defend others.. the jws leaders still have expanded ideas about worldliness and government involvement.
but do the jws leaders still allow a jw to defend themself or have they changed that to pacifism?.
Only they can answer that...all we can do is guess just what in the hell is going on their minds.
that is cool....change the word coward into pacifist to justify a position that insures safety?
That is why you cannot put any stock into a person defining their own actions.......they are always going to have a pretty word to decribe their actions that sounds ok and legal!

What good is it to quote a scripture? All they have to say is what you are taking as literal..was not meant literal by the author! And there you go! What you going to say in response to that?
The only way you can use the Bible to defeat them...is to be recognized as the Author of it..............otherwise they will just continue twist away to fit their adgendas and guesses with no authority present to dispute....
Waste of time imo.
My idea of combatting them is to have them fearing and running from me and the few things I can prove on them....Not me running like a scared little bitch from them and their pathetic guesses.
I want to someday perfect my attack upon their guesses to where I simply have to say a simple sentence to get them beating feet in retreat...
That would be my defintion of "success" and "happiness".
